Tarhana Soup

        Tarhana is made almost everywhere in Turkey and its soup is consumed lovingly. But the registered Uşak tarhana is famous both for its taste and for its healing. Traditional Uşak tarhana, which is prepared by women as a result of busy working, attracts attention in all seasons. Tarhana, which contains red pepper, onion, chickpea, flour, yoghurt and yeast, is among the most consumed delicacies during Ramadan.
